The MEFC and MEFC2 fan controllers are set up for use with a wide range of existing ceiling fans. They clip into many Australian wall plates and look their best in the TRADER range. They also suit other plates in the market that use the common Clipsal* style aperture.
The design of the controllers suits standard layouts with the capacitor positioned below the mech and behind the wall plate. The two different capacitors provide speed control for the most common style of AC motors in the market.
Various knob finishes are available to suit replacement into different wall plate ranges.
